Residential Sellers Home Inspection

One of the options many sellers do not even consider is whether or not to obtain a Sellers Home Inspection.

Let’s say you have your home for sale and you get a good offer. Your listing becomes “pending” – taking the home off the market – in anticipation of the closing. Five to ten days before the set closing date, often within a day or two, your buyer gets the home inspection done.

If repairs are needed, that gives you less than a week to find help and get it done; you might end up with long delays, or even be forced to negotiate a cheaper price. Worse, if the repairs are major, your buyers could cancel the contract.

By using a certified home inspector in advance, you can locate problems before putting your home on the market. Any repairs, major or minor, could have been taken care of before potential buyers even saw your home. Now you can be confident there will be no delays or renegotiation before your closing. Plus, having a Residential Sellers Home Inspection done in advance assures potential buyers that your home is exactly what you say it is, making it more appealing.
